BUSY START TO SEASON 2017/18
A couple of busy weekends with Round 2 in Werribee, Round 3 at Meadowglen, the Irelands competing in Geelong and Angus at Nunawading. Good to see the Bakers and the Szuhai’s back, and even though it was cold, the girls looked great Brunswick’s new crop tops.
Round 4 this week will be again held in Werribee.
Thanks to Ian, Gemma, Daniel, Mark, Olive, Ros and Leonie for the excellent job they did at the Pole Vault, and it looks like we have our next recruit in training…
READY, SET, SCAN!
Ronda & Denise dressed for the occasion when they visited the new portable CT Body Scanner in the operating theatre of the Epworth hospital.
MELBOURNE MARATHON & MELBOURNE CUP
Congratulations to Ros running a PB in the Melbourne Half Marathon, and no, Olive didn’t win the Melbourne Cup, but she did get to hold it.
BAC MEMBERS IN THE MAKING
In addition to Oly’s pole vaulting attempts above, we get a glimpse into the bright future for Brunswick Athletics Club, with a few of our club littlies pictured below.
MISS PEGGY & XANDER REIGN SUPREME
Mum Miss Peggy with baby Xander pictured above at the Geelong Show last Friday, who was judged as the 2nd best lamb. Regardless of what the judges thought, they’re our sentimental favourites and the best in our eyes.
The duo did, however, win the Overall Supreme Ram and Ewe, so kudos and congratulations again to the Irelands.
